This is a background hiss my cheap microphone records when i use my laptop. I recorded with audacity. This one has spikes of static noise every so often, sounding almost like faint voices. It's creepy in my opinion. It can also sound like water or a waterfall running in the background, or a beeping futuristic computer in a spaceship.

This sound would be suited for background atmosphere in a nightmare movie sequence, or to blast out of your windows to the neighborhood on halloween. It was created in audacity by using a piece the audio track from the end of the movie "my cousin vinny". It is the line marisa tomei says as she and vinny are driving back to n. Y. (oh my god, what a f'ing nightmare). It was then noise-reduced, pitch and tempo adjusted, reversed, and paulstretched.

MIDI of "Ut Queant Laxis", an 8th century hymn best known for being the basis for Ut-Re-Mi-Fa-Sol-La, later modified to the familiar Do-Re-Mi-Fa-Sol-La-Ti. Each line begins with a note that moves up the scale from Do to La (Ti not being used in music of that period).

Made using two synths. One is a noise generator that has been pitched down three octaves. It has a 12-hertz sine tremolo on either side, one of which is offset by half a wavelength. The other synth is a deep organ playing e3 and g3. I cut the sound in audacity, and the waves line up perfectly, so you don't need to worry about looping it badly.

Recorded on 06/23/19 at 8:45 a. M. Outside nassau hall, a historic building located in syosset, ny. Sounds that can be heard include: various birds, continuous planes flying overhead, an occasional passing car, a light breeze, a horse snorting (at 9:14 and 9:17), a few distant voices, and insects. A zoom h1n and 3dio fs binaural microphone were to used to record this track.

Simple, sad chords with an ambient drum pattern accompanying. I created this with logic pro x and a basic soft synth that come with the software. The drums have some effects from fabfilter's "timeless" plugin, and also some distortion, but nothing too fancy. Walk glass crunch scuff - this recording was made in probably 1998 using a senheiser 416 onto dat tape, it was recorded on set at a night club in thailand for a film called "a hero never dies " i was operating the dat and directed by the foley artist who was actually the director of the film a certain mr johnny to. He made all 20 or 30 people on set hush up for this. A great memory for me shared in perpetuity.

Recording of a fairly boisterous stream near my house. It has a lot of motion due to the fact that a branch was caught on the bank of the stream which was being pulled about in different directions resulting in different rates of flow and a varying sound.
