Simple, sad chords with an ambient drum pattern accompanying. I created this with logic pro x and a basic soft synth that come with the software. The drums have some effects from fabfilter's "timeless" plugin, and also some distortion, but nothing too fancy. This is my first sound contributed to the community so they'll hopefuly get more interesting as i improve, but feel free to use it as you wish.

A boeing airplane taking off on november 12 from fort myers airport to columbus ohio. I thought this would be a good recording for freesound, so i thought i'd upload it. Removed the hum from cognito-perceptu's pill-bottle-4 sample. Original sample had truck in background in addition to some low frequency hum. Used the remove hum feature on izotope rx2 and, presto-chango, no distracting background noise. Now there is still a high frequency hum which i did not touch. I think this could be mitigated with a low pass filter in eq if you choose.

Here is a recording i made of my toilet flushing. I used 3 microphones, one placed in the bowl, one place on the cistern and one placed about 2 feet away from the toilet. This is a crusty old tape i found. Field recordings possibly made maybe in the 70's or 80's. The end of the tape is weird i think he recorded a dog panting or maybe its a cat purring but has slowed it down. It sounds cool and i always wanted to use it for something but never quite managed to make it fit.

The track was taken of a swiftair boeing 734-400 freighter flew over when landing at leipzig-halle airport (germany) on march 06, 2021. Equipment used for recording was a zoom h5 stereo field recorder + 2 rode ntg2 shotgun mics. Registration of the plane was ec-nml. The slight background noise comes from a nearby motorway. . . Walk glass crunch scuff - this recording was made in probably 1998 using a senheiser 416 onto dat tape, it was recorded on set at a night club in thailand for a film called "a hero never dies " i was operating the dat and directed by the foley artist who was actually the director of the film a certain mr johnny to. He made all 20 or 30 people on set hush up for this. A great memory for me shared in perpetuity.

This is a first attempt to record sound underwater, i build a small hydrophone according to the instruction gave us by digifishmusic, i could probably make it better but all considered i'm pleased whit it. The hydrophone was placed in a small river near where i live, just below the water surface but unfortunately it kept bouncing against the rocks so it's a bit noisy. Enjoy!.

This chainsaw is brand new. 45cc recording taken at a distance of 30 feet and is unfortunately tarnished at the front with an ambulance siren.
