This is a beat i made using the percussion presets form fab filter 1 cm synth for a track i was writing. Each hit was then loaded into abletons impulse drum sampler and tweaked for my pleasure. Work in progress speech synthesis speech, all drawn in photosounder. I've drawn the basic vocalisation by drawing horizontal lines in the 100 hz range using the white spray with the harmonics modifier, and modulated that using the dark spray to create the formants. I also added a couple of fricatives with the white spray, but it's incomplete.

I placed a radioactive towards a series 900 mini-monitor (gm tube), starting from about 50cm away. Saturation is reached 5cm away. I repeated moved the rock towards and away from the detector over a period of 2 minutes. I used a zealsound microphone and recorded directly into my laptop using audacity. The sound is as recorded.
