This is not the greatest recording ever, but you may find some use for it. Single player dribbling a basketball in an open gym and then some bank shots and some swishes. The slight hum in the background is the gym lights powering up. There is an mp3 and a wav version of this file.

An eight minute long soundscape i made for an episode of an audio fiction podcast. Intended to give the impression of a strange and otherworldly empty void, and to mildly imply sci-fi machinery with a spiritualist undertone. However, could easily be used for other projects where you want to create a feeling of discomfort, or of being in a strange and empty place.

Sorry for messy title. I don't know what to call this one. To me it sounds like a siren (mythological creature). Or funeral music. It's a really old recording, so quality may be really bad, but it's one of my favourites. Please credit me if you use! thanks!.

Created in waveform-10 using 1 instance of zynaddsubfx with 3 layers of hi pass filtered oscillators which were tweaked in detail to sound more like noise. Theres a little reverb, delay and distortion in there. The other oscillator was white noise created in 4osc ( native waveform-10 plugin ).

Smooth fm chords for calm atmosphere in movie. Use fat low pass filter depending on your taste. Highs should be mostly removed, i left them there - you need to decide how much highs you want to keep. It reminds me roland sound. Optionally add roland chorus tal-chorus-lx.

A sort of renaissancey version of the first two lines of ding dong merrily on high, composed on cubase with samples from the edirol orchestral plug in (a bit of harp, french horn, alto flute and violin with kettle drum and sleigh bell percussion). This was for the intro to a radio sketch but hopefully could be useful for other theme setting. Sorry in advance for not doing the whole song.

I recorded this ringtone from my then-typical motorola ultra classic cell phone in early 1997. This version has tiny fade-in/fade-out, about one second of leading silence and two seconds trailing silence for looping. I suggest amplifying it for use on a modern cell phone.

This intro was produced for the german "grinkenschmidter winterfest 2018" show and is now available for you. Text:ladies and gentlemen - may i have your attention please!the show starts in ten - nine - eight - seven - six - five - four - three - two - one - go. -----------------------------------------------due to recent events i would like to share this statement with you:no, i did not sold this countdown sample. It was - and of course still is - cc0 licenced and you are allowed to use it anywhere. If you receive a copyright claim from youtube or someone else this is generally because people used it in their productions and distributed them commercialy, which is ok, because this sample is cc0 licenced. But the "content id scanning system" of youtube thinks by mistake that the distributor is the exclusive copyright holder of that sample/track. Such systems are prone to errors and will probably never work perfect. . . If you run into such issue, please dispute the copyright claim and refer to this sample on freesound. The new and improved ultra-soft noise v2 is here!. This has been optimized for itunes and other audio players. The file includes full tags and album art - 320kbps mp3. Simply log in and slam that download button. Free to download and distribute!. Created completely from end-to-end with open-source software. The audio has been updated to higher quality:3x the noise of the previous version, but with a slightly softer tone to increase effectiveness. Over 100 separate streams of noise was generated to create this. (v1 used 21 streams in 44khz/24-bit in a v0 mp3)the entire project was created, mixed, and mastered in 96khz/32-bit float. This file is limited to 1 hour because the use of a larger bit-rate and the amount of noise used. Helps with many sound pollution problems and audio-stimulus problems such as: sleep, concentration, tinnitus, headaches, and so much more!. If this has helped you, please share your story in the comments below and feel free to distribute this all over the web to help others!. I am leaving the original file https://freesound. Org/s/132275/ online for those who prefer it's tone and texture over this - v2 is a smoother and more relaxing texture.

An long escalator i recorded in atlanta. The escalator was very noisy, and produced a kind of whining electrical sound that sounded almost spiritual. I do not know if the transcendent beauty of the escalator is captured sufficiently here, but i figured someone might be able to use it! there are a few faint voices in the background.

For those who like a vintage sound, this impulse response tries to be the most faithful in the type of spring reverb used in the 60s, on vocals, on guitars, and mainly as a mixing reverb as an alternative to plate reverb if do you want the sound of a garage rock or dub. Depending on the context, you can leave the reverb in mono which reinforces the vintage character.

Recorded at an upstairs open window at 05:30 in april 2020 using a rode mic and a zoom h4n recorder. The usual birds are there plus the call of a pheasant, a resident of the field at the bottom of the garden. There's a low frequency ambient background. I think this was coming from a distant paper mill several miles away.

It is a very strange sound:) made by my reloop rmx-30 dj mixer's and sb live soundcard's bug! there could be a malfunction and when i used the gain potmeter the sound from nowhere (the cable, the mixer, the soundcard, don't know. . ) became mad. It is travelling on freaky frequencies which makes your ear bad. It is worth to listen:) pure hardware sound.

Unedite, recorded in a bus with a group of vietnamese female voices talking all at the same time, sounds like arguing. Normal vietnamese speech is in high pitch, loud with short one syllable words. With some editing could be used as a group of aliens speaking around you.

This recording features, what many would say is the most gorgeous bird-song in the midwest---the flute-like wood-thrush. Recording made in july in deep forst; a plane is lazily droning overhead, and the ever-present chorus of summer insects is heard. Made with zoom h4n using the internal microphones.
