Edited a default preset in bk-synthlab's free "vs-1 oscilloscope" synth and hooked it up with a free midi sequencer vst (hyperion) and placed thrillseekervbl on the master. This was done using headphones back then so the sound may not be optimal on some playback devices.

This is a sound of a mercedes benz 709d mini bus driving on a really hard icy road. It was a rattly old bus, everything squeaked and rumbled on it. I videoed this journey with my canon powershot a460 digital camera, i simply took the sound from the video. It's a good sound, it turned out well thanks to the winter weather, and the rough icy road. Please note, anybody is free to use this sound, you don't have to credit me, but it would be fun to hear how you use my sound if possible. :) here is the link to the type of licence i use. This recording was done on a balmy day in early november at the shore of a small lake in southern illinois. Even though it was november, i was in a short-sleeve t-shirt, because of the warm weather that we had been having. However, there was a huge, approaching mass of cold air from canada approaching which resulted in some tremendous, steady winds, gusting up to 40 miles an hour. I literally had my zoom h4n recorder sitting in some sedge-type grasses inches from the lake, which enabled me to get the clear, crisp sound of the wind-driven wages breaking over the small rocks and sticks. Occasionally you will hear a dull roar of the wind, which i was able to decrease a bit using my graphic equalizer, although as you listen to the entire piece you will notice that i just could not eliminate all of the “wind roar”,. Still, i think this is an effective, realistic sound-record of what happens when cold air hits head on with warm air over a lake. Again, this was recorded using the zoom h4n digital audio recorder, using the built-in stereo microphones. Enjoy.

I was super inspired to post here again after an insane coincidence happened!. I was in an online class (thanks, covid) where we were supposed to redo all the sounds and music for an animation we chose. We were encouraged to use sound libraries and freesound. Org. In one classmate's animation, a sound he used seemed very familiar, and then it hit me. . It's my sound! from this site! the crazy part is he has my same first name. But anyway, thank you for taking a look and listen to this sound which is about 2 years old now, heh. I went to this exhibit about electronic and/or audio stuff. In the show they were doing on stage, they brought various tesla coils and things i forgot the name of. I decided to take a video. Within that video, is this sound! feel free to use this sound wherever, however, whenever you want. I ain't uploading on freesound for nothin'. ;d. The only processing i did was cutting out any talking during the raw recording.

This is my old bedsheet being torn apart with bare hands. I have recorded this in 96khz/24-bit with a zoom h2, then normalized and saved as a 16-bit. This sample has a lot of sounds of tearing (unedited) so i think anyone can find something useful in it :).

I thought i record some breaths, tried to variate it a bit. For example there is an inhale and exhale with the yogic ujjayi breath and some other ones. I used some of these in drone pieces, they blend it pretty well. Thats unprocessed raw: just recorded direct into ableton 9 with zoom h2n.

I used my bathroom as a live echo chamber - porting out from my pc, and then recording back via a neuman mic. I liked the tunefullness of the boiler pump in the airing cupboard, so left it running and put the mic in there. This is a very small piece of an overtone composition i made.

A little tune where uoki-toki polivoks vcf and intellijel μvcf are acting as vcos. I use one more sound source and that’s noise for the rhythmic sound. No sequencer. No midi. No keyboard. No over dub. Don’t know why i write this… it’s an nice experiment anyway.
