Messing around in logic with some surround impulse responses and delay designs. Ended up with something that sounded a bit like a submarine sonar blip. . So i added the sound of a fridge, time stretched using the flex tool and pitch adjusted and now it sounds almost real :).

The sound of my roommate snoring, snorting, and breathing heavily while asleep. Starts softly and gets louder. The death. . . I searched and dug for some time - until i found these three useful sounds:. * "horror shrieks woman" by aderumoro (licensed under the creative commons 0 license!) [2020-06-02]. - links: https://freesound. Org/people/aderumoro/sounds/320740/https://creativecommons. Org/publicdomain/zero/1. 0/* "male voice screaming loudly" by dinsfire (licensed under the creative commons 0 license!) [2020-06-02]. - links: https://freesound. Org/people/dinsfire/sounds/169628/https://creativecommons. Org/publicdomain/zero/1. 0/* "cwd_lt_ambient 17 empire. Mp3" by coldwombdescent (licensed under the creative commons 0 license!) [2020-06-02]. - links: https://freesound. Org/people/coldwombdescent/sounds/398360/https://creativecommons. Org/publicdomain/zero/1. 0/. I downloaded them, cleaned them, stretched the screams, made lots of improvements - and finally remastered them. Then i used the three remastered files to create the death! i mixed these sounds to make it even more epic, more dramatic!. I could've made lots of more changes, and made it even more dramatic, however, i wanted to leave the rest up to the listener's fantasy. It was much about planning, knowing what sounds to use, and how to use the different sounds, timing, and creating anticipation, shock and tension!. If you enjoyed the sound, please rate, comment, spread! it really helps!. Enjoy!/matrixxx.

Nature, and man-made machines, wake up on a saturday in a small town in southern illinois. Even though getting "away from it all" and experiencing nature in the deep woods, or a quiet field is very enjoyable, let's not forget that nature often lives and thrives side-by-side with us. I recorded this in my back yard on saturday april 27th, 2013 at 6:45 am and you'll hear the low, but everpresent low rumble of a distant train throughout. But, over and above you hear the incredible variety of calls and sounds made by a family of starlings who seem oblivious to the iron horse and the occasional car. We had rain the night before, so every now and then you hear a loud "plop" as a breeze cuts loose fat rain-drop and it hits the foam wind-screen on my h4n. Starting at around 3:47 and running to 4:08 a cardinal makes a strong appearance. I made this recording using my zoom h4n recorder, using it's internal built-in stereo microphones, with the recording gain on 81, out of 100. Enjoy!.

I needed a rattle-snake sound for a tracklay so recorded myself shaking my salt and pepper grinders. Considering i recorded this on a stereo mic in the bedroom of my two-bed flat, i think it came out pretty well!. This is the processed version, which has been through noise reduction and high-pass filtering (soft cut off begins somewhere around 200hz). I believe that this has drastically improved the raw recording, but if you would like to use the original and process it yourself, feel free to send me a message and i will upload it. Recorded using my zoom h1 at 48k/32-bit (because i didn't realise it wasn't set to 96k. . . Whoops!).

I grabbed a metal mallet (mini sledgehammer) and dropped in on cement in various ways. Lightly and a bit harder. Recorded into my ntg3 in a garage sectioned off. Signal to noise ratio was really good because it was a loud sound. H5 was my recorded. Cleaned some hum using rx4. Boom!. Pretty please, post a link if you use this file. I'm excited to see what you can do with this!. Text me if you want to have fun and talk gear. I love hearing what people are up to!702-860-9869.

All in oneused filters are> doepfer a-124 special edition, the wasp filter> uoki-toki polivoks vcf> intellijel μvcfdidnt plan to upload this to freesound, but read this. Okay filter freaks. . . The frequency analysis reveals a peak around 20khz. Through all of the track? almost. What is that? (when i converted the file to mp3 the peak disappears. . . ) one clue could be that i use the filter as vcas too?i have applied normalisation, compression and limiter in audacity. This piece is a sound-sculpture of a weather effect commonly called the beast from the east in the uk. It is based on a longer piece by me called frozen kaos. This was constructed by me using only copywrite free sources of sounds, musical(ish) pieces and natural sounds. All of these were assembled and processed using the free software package audacity™. Most samples have been filtered, pitched, and manipulated vastly to make the basic foundation. On that base all the rest of the sounds were layer (over 200 different layers -- manipulated, mixed down, rebuilt, remixed, manipulated). I mostly work be happenstance and never take notes -- often what comes about is as much by chance as by design.

Recently we purchased a scale from ikea, when we finally got around to using it we realized that it must be off, as i do not weigh 240 lbs. As we did not have a receipt, or the desire to drive 2 hours to return a $10 scale the only course of action left to me was to take the damn thing apart and record its insides. (what else?). I recorded and edited together around 7 and a half minutes of various configurations and performances of me making some sort of repetitive, engine-like sound. I can foresee myself using these sounds for an old-timey engine or car. Recorded with a rode ntg-3 at 96/24.

It can be used for a lot of things: a big robot shutting down, an aircraft landing, a sci-fi weapon shooting, an awesome sfx for some dubstep and so on. It's recorded with my tascam dr-40 field recorder with the highest quality settings possible. Hey!did you find my sound useful? consider supporting my work by donating a dollar or two through this link:. Paypal. Me/lieberkind.
