Dark analogue synthy sound created by a low tuned electric guitar, plucking an open low 'c' string. Effects used is a combination of a zoom bass multi fx pedal and a boss dd20 delay pedal. Recorded direct to a tascam digital recorder.

A more grim, horror-focused version of spooky snap 1 - pitch automation is applied. The base is the same - a strong, resonating clink of glass by using a flat metallic surface to generate the sound.

Shell casings being dropped onto a tiled floor. I got some shell casings from a local shooting range and recorded the sound of various sized casings bouncing on a tiled floor. I used a usb condenser mic (samson co1u pro) with audacity. The section of floor i dropped the shells onto was surrounded by acoustic panels to dampen the echos. A couple times the casing bounced into the mic stand, but i've left them in because they're still useful. There was some background noise caused by my computer which i removed with audacity.

So i got bored and decided to create a mock rwt. This is just me rambling on about it. Don't worry, i'll include the links i said i would in the description of the mock rwt. This is a quick minecraft note block loop (drums only) that i made in multitrack daw mobile (i don't know how i did it in that app, it's so hard to use) with original sounds from the game. And in case you want to know it's 105 bpm. I'll work on more note block tracks soon. Also sorry it's not a perfect loop you will have to take off some space on the end of the clip for it to be perfectly continuous. The app is very hard to use so i couldn't cut it just right.

I did some swishes myself using a spiral hose; i needed them for specific situations in video editing and the bamboo swishes i found here on freesound were too fast and strong. The flexible spiral hose made for some nice and slower swishes; some of the 16 sounds build up a little, some are very fast and strong, some soft and gentle. A whole pack for you to use. Collection of different human voices introducing original nitrate optical sound effects made for hollywood in the 1930s and 40s as digitized by craig smith. Sound effects extracted, these are mostly only the intro voices except for some small overlaps or tails. Sometimes it cuts off or on in the middle of a word but that's just what was available in the optical soundtracks. I plan to use these for a film but thought it might be fun for others to play with.
