It's not rain but sounds like rain - fog and damp settling in the trees as a breeze blows. Recorded in the fields above my home in the fog and damp - so sounds amplified and 'hollow'. Sound created using the wooden rod inside of my coat closet, and recorded on a zoom h2 recorder. This effect was used to create a sort of dungeon ambiance in a musical track. This collection of kitchen sound effects was captured on a tascam dr-07. I carried the recorder around the kitchen opening and closing drawers, the refrigerator, and clattering/clanking plates and silverware. I even did a water pour into a drinking glass. After recording i edited the sounds in protools using a variety of compression and limiting plugins. I hope you find this useful.

Impulse response file for use in convolution reverbs. I recommend convology xt by impulse records, free and easy to use. Recorded in a glass box of a hotel shower. And we all know glassy resonant shower reverb is the best. Recorded with primo em172 omnis plugged into a sony d100. Self-reminder to bring more balloons next time.
