Created using tracktion waveform-10. I used 3 instances of the builtin synth subtractive, 1 was for the body of the snare the other 2 were the noise to try and replicate the wires of the snare, finally i used zynaddsubfx to create the transient. There was some eq applied to boost key frequencies in around 200hz and mastermix plugin to compress the audio.

Acoustic snare sample ripped from the stock fruity loops loop "pendulus" mixed in with a click transient from a free goldbaby sample pack. Resampled and compressed multiple times. Tape saturated. An almost similar snare sound to that of idioteque in radiohead's 2000 album kid a. Though it is meant for experimental style, i think it would work with any form of electronic music. It was created by resonating noise from audacity, filtering it, fading it out, stretching it and compressing it. It has a characteristic sustain to it. Imagine it as a mix of a gunshot, cymbal, shaker and snare. Feel free to use it in any way you like. If you ever use it publicly or commercially, notify me so that i can hear how you used it.

No credits needed! use it however you like!. I felt like sharing this snare drum sample i managed to create in about 20 minutes using a random drum sample, noise generators, and a little synthesizer with some heavy processing going on. It's very punchy and probably very usable, too.

Tried to add sub harmonic content to a snare, so a lot of the punch in this 200hz snare comes from harmonics like 50hz 100 hz etc. Execution prolly wasnt too great but i like how it came out.

Rimshot played on 14" wood snare with 7a stick. Recorded with recording device. Eastjutland, holme, århus, denmark.

A snare drum with some delay added. Roughly around 200ms delay then goes down in whole number increments while decreasing in volume. A cool affect if it works with your tempo. Enjoy!.

I took my snare drum into the wonderfully echoey parking garage of my building to record the reverb. Included are samples recorded from varying distances and positions. Also included are dry versions, recorded in a living room and a super-dry elevator. When used in a production, try mixing in the heavily reverbed snares against the dry ones to fit your taste. Also the reverb snares work well mixed under even unrelated percussions to add a neat ambiance. The same goes for my "stairwell foot stomps" sample set. Recorded 24-bit stereo with a sony pcm-d50. Assisted by matt mcgowin.

Drum trigger sample for drum enhancement in recordings or live use. Recorded at a music store in brazil, along with other kicks and snares, using audio technica at2020 condenser, alesis io4 interface and edited by me using the daw reaper. The sample is highly processed, with comp and eq, and have no resemblance with the original sound source. However, it adds a very cool punch and tone, perfect for music styles like rock and metal.

Just a mixture of multiple samples i created over time. Layering a swish noise which was basically a white noise sample with an eq envelope, lowpassed snare, and a not-so-highpassed clap, compressed and saturated. Enjoy!.

Drums were recorded with one room microphone for a roomy sound.

Little breakbeat with skippy snares using one of the chemical kits in reason. Kick and snare were processed separately. A bit of fuzz used across the board to dirty it up a bit and some gentle re verb on the snares and hats.
