I tried to originally make the sound of a train speeding up in an 8-bit style, but it sounded more like the sound guardian scouts make in "the legend of zelda: breath of the wild" when they charge up their laser, so i renamed the sound. It's a sound that i created with a patch i made in pure-data (my first patch btw). Completely random frequencies in completely random space imaging. Merge with au "fm" sound where the index modulation change randomly, the carrier tone and the modular tone also change randomly. I applied a random delay. . . . So random random!.

File i recorded while at work on a telephone pole. I found a span of the steel cable they string between the poles that hold phone lines or cable lines. But this was just the bare span and nothing touching it. If you hit them with a wrench they make weird laser gun sounds. Recorded with my phone and cleaned up a bit in audacity. Use as you please. This is only a recording of me playing a djembe, recorded with a pair of nt1-a mics, but after messing around with some of logic's amp and resonator effects i ended up with this. The 6/8 groove reminded me of the doctor-who theme, and the interval displacement of a minor 6th i thought sounded pretty cool. You don't have to credit me, but if you use my sound i'd love to hear what you come up with!.

This acts as a digital delay effect with infinite feedback and a very high cycle rate. Basically the noise (similar to pink noise) is produced by the soundcard and the resonance is produced by the low pass filter and the convolution reverb mapping of the waldassen cathedral.

I did not use paul's extreme sound stretch, but rather took an original recording of a glockenspiel (with a lot of reverb), and set the playback rate to around 20% its original value.
