During a late night of band recording i went for a walk with my recorder to see if i could find anything interesting. This is a recording of a homeless man in west oakland pushing his shopping cart down the street, stopping to rummage, and saying hello to a friend. This was a silly idea based on tone uploaded by freqman (thanks for the inspiration). The tones (airport lounge type)sound then a man's voice (much manipulated) says "you have a visitor". I created this using digital synthesizers. I lost the presets to this so i can't say exactly how it was created, but eventually i'll create a new version and describe the process. It's basically multiple layers of very grainy (like sparklers or vinyl) noise processed through filters modulated by some kind of noise.

For the 2021 production of christmas carol i wanted to add some special effects. To create a ghostly voices saying ebenezer scrooge i recorded 10 different cast members, then i used audacity to add a little reverb and filter the voice using the frequency transform of a recording of wind.
