A simple recording of a metal drawer. Recorded with zoom h4n + sontronics stc-10 pencil condensors. This was recorded in my room so unfortunately the signal to ambient noise ratio isn't great, i think it's just passable though. The sound can be used for free (though it would be great to hear about what you do with it). It may not be re-distributed as it is, or as part of a compiled sound library.

4ch-surround field-recording of an old watermill in the village of gollmitz in brandenburg/germany. This clip is the rear channels, mic'd at close range near the edge of the waterwheel, the sluicing sound of water falling out of the wheel is clearly discernible. Recording conducted with a zoom h2, mics set to 120° dispersion.

I found this wonderful 4 foot high waterfall in a small canyon in the shawnee national forest in southern illinois. The cool splashing of the rivulet as it spilled out onto a catch-pool was enhanced by the echo as the sound bounced off the 3-sided grotto. Recording of a fairly boisterous stream near my house. It has a lot of motion due to the fact that a branch was caught on the bank of the stream which was being pulled about in different directions resulting in different rates of flow and a varying sound. Some light wind at a couple of points, should be fairly easily edited/eq'd out. Recorded with a rode ntg-2 and zoom h2. Please let me know what you use it for!.

A few thunder sounds were still too loud, but luckily the h5 has a backup function that recorded an identical track 12 db quieter.
