Pc speaker sounds, recorded by mic'ing the tower. Quite noisy, but still very funky in a beat. I used bawami to get my own midi files to play through the pc speaker in order to produce these sounds.

For "young frankenstein" i recorded three cast members howling. For play back, i'd vary speakers, delay, volume and echo effects to get a nice surround and spooky sound, that sounded a little different each time.

From frederick noad's book: 'idiots guide to playing the guitar. ' noad plays it so beautifully, i could never match him, but i just wanted to try it with the electric instead. Recorded with my squire tele and squire bass into the focusrite interface. The guitar went through the walrus slo pedal on 'dream' setting with editing done in reaper. (shout out to kenny gioia for the tips). Bass was run through my behringer bxl 1800 bass amp and through the interface. Both instruments were triple tracked. An orchestral music sting with thunder, for the appearance of a villain or evil threat. Music composed and played on a korg krome. The thunder component is similar to the old classic bbc taped thunder effect. Mastered with adobe audition cs6.

There's a tv tuned to japanese programming behind the counter. In a nearby aisle, a radio plays pop music. A freezer hums loudly.

Recorded the sound inside a container. On top of the container is a wooden construction of a play ground. The container itself was loaded with toys like roller skates, tricycles and shovels. It rained outside moderatly.

Stereo recording of a 15 pound mix-breed dog panting happily after a good round of playing. Recorded in a small apartment.

Small "wooden fish" or mokugyo temple block from kohya-san, japan, played with the original cloth covered beater. Recorded in mono with an akg 414, fredenstein mic amp, rme fireface interface into pro tools.

Recorded with lifecam hd3000 you can hear kids playing outside my window, the neighbors' stereo in the apartment next door, their air conditioner, their vacuum cleaner after they shut down the stereo, they're tromping around and hitting the walls, a few distant birds, and one toot of a train about to come into town. It's forbidden for them to blow the horn inside city limits.

Sang with inbuilt laptop microphone into protracker v2. 3d's 8-bit sampler. Used audacity to elongate the samples. This is part 2 out of of 5 parts:hare krishna (part 1)krishna krishna (part2)hare hare (part 3)hare rama (part 4)rama rama (part 5). When put together properly (part 1 played twice, part 2, part 3, part 4 played twice, part 5, part 3) it constitutes the hare krishna mantra. Note that in this particular set, part 4 and part 5 are sampled one note lower than the others.

Ambient foley, recorded myself playing the piano on an old 80s cassette recorder. . . Stretched it and ran it through a convolution reverb. This is the result, almost sounds like the intro to a burial track. Would work great in ambient music.

In the right channel you hear uoki-toki polivoks vcf. In the left channel is the sound of intellijel μvcf. They are playing the same tones. The sounds have the same envelope but respectively vca are also affected by attenuated lfos.
