Mid/side recording of birdsong on a drizzly surrey morning. I hate to say it but i just don't want to hear any more lousy field recordings from portable devices with those dreadful 90,120 degree built in mics. If you're truly honest with yourself, they stink of amateur.

A very quiet morning recorded 5th march at 09:00 am in fife, scotland. There was hardly any wind which is unusual here at the coast. So it was easy to record with my olympus ls-12 and rycote windshield.

This is a field recording taken in a suburban location in the city of cincinnati just over ten minutes in length. A summer morning field recording at newport lakes reserve, a former bluestone quarry and rubbish tip in the western melbourne suburb of newport. The area is now a vast suburban park with a native nursery and twin human-made lakes, popular with many species of birds and people. This recording was made using a sony pcm-m10 recorder's built-in omnidirectional stereo microphones. It was taken on january 15 2011 at 8. 30am, on unceded boon wurrung land, part of the eastern kulin nations. I acknowledge the sovereignty of the traditional owners and pay my respects to their elders and all first nations people.

Recorded with a tascam dr-05x with gain at 75% and positioned by an open window. 10:00 am sunday, clear sky, cold with some ground frost. Background distant traffic noise and helicopter appears about halfway through the recording then some people's voices near the end. I've amplified this recording by around 8db, no other processing applied.

This is full sequence of music-box in tea can with screweing up(?) until full stop. It's gift-set of tin box with tea and onboard music box. First i'm winding up music box, put box on the table, then it plays until full stop. This audio recorded with sony mobile communications audio recorder (android) on nexus 4 in pcm wav. Then it was slightly edited with audacity - tiny noise reduction and equalisation (boost frequencies below ~400 hz, lowered frequencies higher than ~2500 hz).

The turdus merula singing is too lordly when spring is coming. The sound was recorded by a net friend at near 3:00am in the morning ,but it sings a whole day in spring season. Thanks for the net friend to bring the enjoying.

This recording is done inside a closed room very early in the morning. You can hear the exterior ambience from inside of crickets and frogs.
