In act i of leading ladies, the moose lodge members call out "awhoo". I recorded the cast making the call, which was then used during the performance. Recorded with a zoom h2.

A short, high-pitched adult cat meow. My cat came to visit me in my sound booth while i was recording some dialogue, i hope it can help someone somewhere! :).

Metal thumpy toilet paper holder. I got a last minute laptop gig and had no samples with me- i needed some percussive sounds to tweak in ableton live. I headed to a public bathroom with my edirol r-09 and recorded lots of hits in the bathroom. This one was an -sounding metal toilet paper holder.

I was waiting for a person at the conservatory of venice and i decided to step out on the terrace and trying a field recording. I was at the last floor of a tall building, you can hear people talking on the ground floor, music coming out from classrooms. Recorded with a zoom h1 without windshield, unfortunately there is some wind and handling noises.

This is meant to represent "stopped time starting to move again". It's rough around the edges but with better timing and editing it can make wonders. After checking my mail i was walking back to the house and heard this plane approaching. I always carry my yamaha pocketrak and got it going just in time to catch this low flyover. It actually reminded me of a warplane flying over. I also left in the wind sounds that sort of sound like distant artillery. Please comment on what you will use it for. Thanks. :^).
