I used my hands to make this sound effect. The action was similar to a dog shaking out, except the character was parasitical worm covered in mushrooms. . . It made for a nice little placeholder effect. Do with it, what you like. Hopefully it helps, when you need the sound of a person brushing a spider from their sweater.

Created this excerpt for my film "one thing". Chirpy guitar is used to create an odd vibe. Very lovely imo. Not a complete piece but a nice sound-bite? created in garage band at 120bpm. Mp3 file. Feel free to hash it, mash it and trash it. Use it as you wish, with only two conditions:. 1. Don't claim it for yourself by claiming you created it - that's just rude!. 2. If you feel inclined, and it's appropriate for you to do so, please feel free to say something like "credit to mr. Max riley tennant for their part in sound used" - or something like that. Or nothing like that. It's ok. I just would like max riley tennant credited too, if you wanted to. Don't bother to credit me. I don't really mind :) and only if you want to :) enjoy!. And if you want to see the short film i created it for: one thing then click here. Please be advised though -it is a potentially challenging subject matter, and i've been interviewed by the police for it already, so don't watch it if films about mortality and the ephemeral nature of life may upset you?.

Melodic snippets from recordings of me playing the swar sangam. This wonderful instrument is a combination of the swarmandal and the tampura. 15 harp strings and 4 drone/bass strings. In these recordings i am only using the swarmandal (harp) part. It is tuned to c sharp, but i have dropped the fourth note (f sharp) out of the scale. There are four packs with lots of recordings in them, strums, plucks, short improvisations. "short melodic statements" are 1-2 bars. "riffs" are 2-4 bars. "melodies" are about 30 seconds and "runs and flutters" speaks for itself. There is recording of tuning up the swarmandal in the melodies pack. The snippets were taken from recordings done on three different days so you may notice a slight difference in volume and background noise. A couple of the recordings have some ambient noise (bird tweets, wind chimes,)some of the melodies are based around a similar theme but have enough variation to be interesting/useful. Credit is not required but always appreciated. Linking to the sound allows others to find this amazing website. :-)i love to hear what you have used my sounds for!.

In-cabin recording of a qatar airways boeing 787 dreamliner landing at doha international airport (qatar), followed by announcements in arabic and english. The aircraft touches down at 0:47, the english in-flight arrival announcement is broadcast at 3:44, and there is a bounty of ambient noise including seatbelts clicking, bags zipping, and chatter from passengers. This was recorded in-person from my seat with a tascam dr-40. I was located mid-section (just behind the wings) in an aisle seat. Public domain: i have released this audio file into the public domain. It is free for anyone to download, modify, or use without my consent and without attribution - like all freesound audio files should be. Enjoy!.

I recording made near some woods of the wind ebbing and flowing on an unusually mild day in late november of 2013. What i find unique about this recording is a lone cricket calling out at various times of this recording. . . Makes for a nice, almost melancholy feeling. It is almost like the cricket is not quite ready to hide away for the winter and is taking advantage of a rare 70-degree november day to call out as if to say "hey, i'm still here, waiting. . . In the grass. ". With headphones on, works wonders in clearing your head. . . Recording made at 6:30 at night with my handy / zoom h4 n recorder using the internal microphones, and of course using a very very stout wind screen. Enjoy.

Start with chaos. In this sound/patch you have the possibility to enjoy chaos and feedbacki use my sloth lfos and jerkoff - another chaos moduleim possible sick i like this - thou its simple. Sloth modulate vco and filter cut of frequencyfeedback from vco to the filter via a vca controlled by a looping envpan fx also controlled by sloth - same env that controls the frequency. The "prassel" rustle sound is great in my earsjerkoff, exp vca, function and another sloth. Evaluation of patch/soundone cycle is - there are many cycles to consideronly short sounds - no, goodamplitude variation - yep goodpitch variation - mediumtimbre variation - some, via filter/two soundsmusical value - i think so!entertaining - yes?!.

(recorder: zoomh4npro 2018)(microphones: binaural roland cs-10em in-ear monitors). As these are recorded using binaural in-ear mics, i purposefully don't turn my head to keep the sound clean and coming from the same direction. This was recorded in the burbank town center food-court area. I was careful to avoid specific conversation for legal purposes. There was a cranky baby nearby, so you get an occasional frantic cry. This would be perfect for any project taking place in a large, public center with a tile or stone floor and lots of movement. Enjoy,. Christopher c. Courter.

Audio-technica at4040 (mid)akg perception 400 (side)sound devices mixpre-6 @ 24/192adobe audition (edited, normalized, downsampled). Mics placed on pedestrian walkway facing dam spillway at a 45-degree angle from about twenty feet away at closest approach. Around 2pm, slightly breezy, approximately 26'c, sunny. . It's a funky mid-side configuration with dissimilar mics, i wanted to try this, expecting the at4040 to be a step up over the akg perception 220, but i knew this would be more dissimilar to the akg 220+400 pair. . . I've begun to notice how peaky the akgs can up around 5k-10k. What do you think?.

A field recording i made. The original file was about 3 hours long, i just cut a cool piece out and uploaded it :: gear: one røde nt-1a (right channel) and one shure 8700 (left channel; eq-based hiss reduction) :: setup: both microphones were mounted next to each other with an offset of about 2. 5 meters :: the preamp for the nt1-a was the on-board preamp of the yamaha mg16/4 mixing console. Directly recorded to adobe audition 3. 0. :: if you like (or dislike) the sample, download, rate and comment!.

Frogs. So many frogs around sundown on a forest trail in vancouver, canada. Got in real close to record this with my phone. Slap a bunch of reverb on this clip and you've got some nice nighttime ambience for a film. This sound is licensed under creative commons 0, meaning you can use it in any work, for free, forever! however, i request that if you do use it in your project, you leave a comment below sharing what you used it for. You can use the sound regardless, but i would love to see what people use it for. Thanks, and happy mixing!.

Music i made in garageband for a thing called victors crypt. It's basically a drum and bass track with some synth-tones on top to get a more chilly vibe. It's a minor melody on top of a groovy beat. I think it would work fine as an intro or something to a creepy pod or spooky youtube-channel for instance. Feel free to use it as long as you give me the credit for it/write me as composer. And subscribe to and watch my channel :). Be cool and subscribe to and watch victors crypt:https://www. Youtube. Com/channel/uca8o46_wrqzehsdzuwfq3rq. Throw horns, dance & hail satan!.

A short exciting tune i made in garageband for something called victors crypt!. I feel that the music has the emotion of delusion. Like you don't really know what's real and what's not. Could be useful in anything dark, eerie, spooky, creepy, scary, horrific, mysterious, crime-ish, thrilling or whatever comes to mind. Feel free to use it as long as you give me the credit for it/write me as composer. And subscribe to and watch my channel :). Be cool, watch and subscribe to victors crypt:https://www. Youtube. Tiny waves lapping the quartzite pebbles (1-2cm diameter) on a beach at lake pedder. Recorded 21 march 2019, 3am, with marantz pmd661 and rode nt55. Exceptionally quiet night, no wind, no other sounds. The gordon river power station was 20 kms distant. Other mechanical equipment or vehicles greater then 50 kms. I could just perceive the electrical hum from the station (or from transmission lines), and so could my partner, but i can’t hear it on the recording. At 1. 30 on the recording you can hear my partner’s soft cough coming from our tent 50m away. The crackles that sound like static come from the quartzite pebbles as they are moved around by the tiny waves. See also "tiny waves lapping #2".

This is like the other file almost the same name, it is the same silly announcement that warns you about the end of an escalator or conveyor and is used in asda. A sound i made by combining effects with a noise in a long process , ending up sounding "natural" but in a cool way. . Sounds like tubes with running hot air or liquid in a big big place , its also a surreal dreamy sound thats sort of dark and also a bit pleasant and relaxing.

This is just a noise taken off my home phone, it is the standard noise that plays after punching in a number. I used a direct feed for this one, although there really was not much different. This is the only sound from a direct feed that wouldn't come in so terribly soft.
