Sound effect - bass rumble tension rise (wind river movie). I've looked for this particular bass tension builder sound effect from the movie wind river since it came out!! if you've seen that film and you're familiar with the "standoff" scene, then you'll probably know what sound effect im referring to. . . In the background of that most intense ever scene of all time is this bass rumble or tension builder that gives me goosebumps every time i watch it! i've wanted the original pretty bad because its the best suspense builder(bass rumble) sound ive ever heard! although it doesn't seem to exist online even for purchase. These migrants mostly live with their chinese employers - who treat them very much like slaves, working long hard days, some of whome get to sleep on kitchen or bathroom floors. . . They arent wealthy so on their days off can't afford to go restaurants an cinemas and any way they are all here to earn money to send back to their families and children, since they cant afford much they tend to gather in groups in to dance and sing, or sit and eat play cards. I just so happened past a 'street' party in victoria park and took a recording as it sounded very exotic and all the people seemed happy in way i couldnt describe - altho i feel this recording is actually a little sad?. .

So far i've been pretty stunned by the performance of these capsules, which are significantly more sensitive than the built in microphones on the h1, and to my ears sound much less muddy. I'm particularly impressed by this because the capsules are running on the 2. 5v of plug-in power that the h1 delivers, which is below the minimum specs of the capsules. Even so there is remarkably little noise. I can only imagine how they would sound with a battery pack to deliver a full 5 volts!.

This is audio of just about the entire ride of the powell-hyde cable car line in san francisco, recorded on 08/26/2015. Late evening trip through the city. I recorded this while i was on the steps on the right side of the car, holding the recorder in one hand and my life in the other! tourists talking, the operator ringing the bells and using the brake levers, etc. Recorded with a tascam dr-70d, built in mics. Made from taking two large atx (the form factor, the chassis) computer panels (that i havent used in quite some time), rubbing the entirety of them together quite brashly (one is on the ground), keeping the recorder on xy setup in my other hand in unison then dropping them onto each other. Inside of reaper, i begin changing the rate and pitching them down and applied saturation, distortion and reverberation gave them a very clean effect of a decrepit gate shutting down. Good for trapping your enemies in a battle to the death for which the title is inspired from; one of those tension moments a person in a film/game finds themselves in.

I set up my recorder outside on christmas eve in 2016 and unwittingly captured the sound of this anonymous and apparently oblivious neighbor walking his dog and singing "it's the most wonderful time of the year" down my street. Pretty charming!. I've noticed recently how my zoom h4 has this nasty looping hum buried beneath the already disappointingly stubborn background noise whenever i do field recordings. Can somebody point me to a solution?.

After recording trains crossing the adjacent tracks i turned the microphones southwest towards the intersection of harrison and wabash. Traffic was heavy and drivers were frequently blowing their horns at each other. A couple of vehicles playing loud music stop at the light. Time of recording was 5:57pm. Weather was warm, in the 80s. This is a recording of a lot of morse code conversations on the 40 meter band of amateur radio. Mainly between 7 - 7. 012 mhz using lsb, usb, cw wide, cw narrow, and am filters. I used a yeasu ft-757gx transceiveri mainly recorded this because i thought the am filter on the morse code sounded very unique and space like. Feel free to cut out whatever you like and modify. Also the buzz is from the computer's sound card impurity being amplified through the transceiver, this is not easy to fix. Recorded on 3:50 utc 2013-11-2.

This was recorded in the centre of oxford, near the junction between broad street and turl street, on 23rd february 2013. I was facing west along broad street with turl street, and the pavement, to my left. There are many different sounds on this recording including bikes being parked (i was standing near a bike rack) and ridden, cars lurking for a parking space, dropping people off and turning round (broad street has a car park in the middle of it), plenty of different people walking past and talking, and a big issue seller. There is the occasional bit of wind noise, but not as much as i'd feared (luckily the wind was behind me). Recorded with a marantz pmd661 with built-in microphones.

It was raining one night so i used a sony px720 digital voice recorder to catch some hopefully cool atmospheric type sounds. I placed the recorder next to my apartment window and stepped away for a few minutes. My window is situated right next to a rain-gutter so you hear the rain hitting the pavement along with the rain flowing down the gutter. You also hear four different cars drive by during the recording. Well that's about it hopefully these sounds are of some use to people.

These are series of various flash bulb pop sounds designed by me for the war-themed short film project. I've decided to create those myself from scratch, because i could not find any proper recordings of those rare vintage flash bulb which were closed lamps that contained a magnesium filament along with oxygen gas that would be ignited and create a significant pop followed by short crackle. I created these perfect loops using my yamaha psr463 synthesizer, my zoomr8 portable studio, and audacity. All the music on these tracks was written by me. All instruments were played by me as well. All you have to to is loop them and you'll have a great base rhythm for your projects or to just jam with. That's why i create these types of loops; they help me create full finished compositions. Created in audacity by taking a. 223 gunshot (recorded on a private firing range), adding more bass and amplifying the sound, and then adding shells dropping by adding in the sound of rattling silverware, and finally adding a bit of echo to finish it off. Features that heavy bass thump of a powerful assault rifle with shells ejecting and falling to the ground. I couldn't find any other sound quite like this so i created one. Enjoy!.

A pencil writing on some cardboard. Makes a good scratching sound for something like note taking or plain writing. It's semi-erratic with a couple pauses in between and i took different distances from the mic and angles with the pencil to try and get different sounds.
