This loop was made using a homemade didjeridu. It had an odd dry tone and i made some noises in it with my mouth, then manipulated it all in audacity. Kind of indescribable but hopefully it can be of use to someone. . .

An improved version of my "single gunshot 4. 2" sfx; this one isn't too meaty or filled with irritating reverb as this one, which i believe is also slightly more realistic. Created with audacity. Use however you see fit.

A synthetic bass multisample. I created it using the virsyn cube additive synthesizer (vsti). I applied some eq using the sonalksis sv-517 equalizer plugin. The sound was compressed by the sonalksis sv-315 and nomad factory blue tubes cp2s compressor plugins. All great quality plugs. The sound is a nice but rather static emulation of a bass guitar. Use your sampler's velocity and pitch bending options to bring this multisample to life. All samples in a 24 bit, 44. 1 khz resolution. Loop points were added for sustained notes.

This is version 1 of an atmos recording of a busy beach during the summer. In this version i am facing the sea so it picks up more of the surf sounds and people playing in the sea itself. Recorded on a tascam dr-40 using internal stereo mic. See version 2 for atmos recording where i have my back to the sea and pick up more of the beach itself.

Modular synth patch where two envelopes are involved in a chase. There could have been a rhythm, but i let chaos disturb theharmony. The square wave sounds are "distorted" in a wave rectifier. The kind of patch only an owner to a modular synth findany interest in?do you find any use for some part of this sound let me know!the "ground/root pith" is 122hz. . . Almost a b. . . But not really. I tune my oscillators without caring about "real" tones. The quantizer makes the steps between tones.

I found two melodies in gis_sweden's excellent "you deserve it - friday randomness ii"http://freesound. Org/people/gis_sweden/sounds/362508/. And quantized them into a 92 bpm 4/4 thing. Each melody is presented panned, with and without a beat, then simultaneously. It's sort of an accidental counterpoint. I also messed up his nice analog sound into some harsh digital junk. There's a lot of high frequency energy here so watch it, and apologies to mr. Fletcher, mr. Munson and their daughter, curve.

The sound of southampton water at around 5am on a bank holiday monday (national holiday). The microphone was placed right at the shoreline where the water meets the land. There are distant boats/ships, the oil refinery and a few sea birds. There was no wind at all when i first turned up, so i could use the microphone without any wind protection at all. Around 15 minutes of a fireworks show i went to. You can hear many different types of fireworks go off, with crackling, explosions, bangs, booms, etc. In this. There are people and kids talking and laughing in the background throughout many parts due to this being a public event, which may be good or bad depending on what you would like to use this for. The fireworks were not very far away, which means that they do sound close. I even got covered in some ash during the experience. You do not need to credit me for this sound, use it how you like.

One of a series of heavily processed recordings i made using a hikari monos cv. It's a small, highly tweakable synthesizer that's great for drones, resonant pings, and all manner of dynamic electronic sounds. Using s-layer, the sample-mangling plugin from twisted tools, i focused on generating short, punchy impulses that leaned into the resonant character of the original monos recordings. These sounds might be useful for ui buttons, as well as designing modern-retro sounds for games.

This recording was made at a canal when it was reasonably dry. The canal has a road running parallel to it and above it. The side of that road has a largish (30cm?) pipe that drains water into the canal. I made this recording by holding my zoom h5 portable recorder in this pipe, and recording with the inbuilt stereo pair of microphones. You can hear the traffic passing above with the zoom of the occasional fast truck, but it's muted and it's echoing around the pipe. There's a hollow rumble running through the whole track. I made the recording in august (spring) of 2021 in brunswick west, australia.

My first little attempt at making some film-like sound effects. Alot of bass in this one, tried to cut it below 30-50hz. I just want to point out to the people having a listen, that the sample that streams on the website has a small static-like noise in it. . The download version will not have this noise, i believe the compression for streaming degraded the sound a bit.

Some guys across the alley were throwing things out the window this morning, which woke me up and ticked me off. Instead of yelling at them, i put up my mic and recorded the impacts. This is the raw audio from the recording (only mono, sorry, didn't have time to set up two mics). Some really nice impacts and other hidden goodies in here. Later i may take some cuts out of it and put them up. Mic: rode nt1-aposition: from window c. 30 feet away.

I recorded some rain outside my front door. This is a tuned (a440) sample which you can use to achieve a sort of soft-yet-textured synth string sound in a virtual instrument like ableton's sampler. I think adding a little fake vibrato to it with multiple conflicting volume lfos sounds pretty nice. You're free to use this sound without attribution. Please link people here to share rather than redistributing yourself. If you do use this sound, let me know! i'd love to hear what you do with it.

This is the source recording for my first sound made for my "a sound design everyday" project. Every day i will record a sound and then create designs, collages, and lil' music tidbits using the source recording and only the source recording. For this sound, i flipped my bike upside down and used various objects to press against the spinning tires. You can hear the full sound design piece at soundcloud:. Http://soundcloud. Automated/computer controlled plasma cutting torch. Re-processed from open source wikipedia video courtesy of metaveld wijchen bv. Noise reduced, dynamics compressed and high/low frequencies resynthesized. I'm not that big a stickler about receiving credit for the use of my sounds on freesound. As a courtesy, i appreciate it but i do ask people to always credit freesound. Org and if their project ever sees any kind of profit to please consider making a donation to the website. Actually is not rain. It is snow melting down from a roof, falling into puddles and onto a corrugated roof. I placed the microphone (zoom h2) on different spots in 4channel sorround mode. I just normalized them and mixed them into stereo. Thats it. In this case the mic is placed on the ground in the middle of the puddles and the roof. Feel free to vote and leave a comment, maybe letting me know how you are going to use it :). You can easily loop the sound without a notable cut in the mix. Cheers, pillo.

Tiny waves lapping the quartzite pebbles (1-2cm diameter) on a beach at lake pedder. Recorded 21 march 2019, 3am, with the internal mics on a marantz pmd661. For noise reduction, capture a noise print around 0. 09. Exceptionally quiet night, no wind, no other sounds. The gordon river power station was 20 kms distant. Other mechanical equipment or vehicles greater then 50 kms. I could just perceive the electrical hum from the station (or from transmission lines), and so could my partner, but i can’t hear it on the recording. See also "tiny waves lapping #1".

A sample from a quick flight that i took with a friend on september 8th, 2015. Audio was recorded with a zoom h5. You can hear the engine start, then we idle on the runway for a bit, and you'll hear us make a proper takeoff at about 13:30. After that it generally sounds the same. You'll hear when i crank the level down after takeoff, but you'll be able to easily compensate for it if you're serious about needing sustained flight noise for a small plane. The plane was a 1964 cessna 172e and were flying around vancouver, bc.

Male voice, manipulated in pitch and speed, saying "here's a poem i wrote for animal lovers, it's called awwwwwww" the "awwwwwww" sound increases in pitch and speed, and just sounds kind of silly. I tried my best to fade in/fade out the clip and eliminate for background noise. Recorded on iphone 6splus microphone. Edited with audacity. #monopreme #podcast23 free forever and a day. No copyright, just the creative commons 0 guidelines. Enjoy. Or don't. Check out other cool stuff while you're here, using my poem to make an epic ballad or techno song, or a cat video. Awwwwwww!.

Pretty cool vocal i made for my dubstep track. Maybe someone else might find it useful as well. :)it's loopable, but i left a bit of space at the end for the reverb, so you might want to chop it first, if you're going to loop it. 140 bpm, e minor (probably). Btw i'd be really happy, if you show me what you made with this, but that's fully optional. :d.
