S short piece i made ages ago using harmor in fl studio. I was experimenting without beats and tried to make an electronic landscape; what it would be like living in a piece of wire. Use at your discretion. Let me know if you like the sound. -cb.

This was recorded on july 4th, 2013 in enumclaw, wa. I was not expecting the bomber to fly over and it was a tribute to one of the last surviving members (edward saylor) of the doolittle raid on tokyo on april 18th, 1942. He was in the parade too. I can just imagine the sound of hundreds flying over in ww2. There is a bit of distortion as the plane flew directly overhead. Please comment on what you will use it for. :^).

I made a series of recordings of urban sounds from my open living room window between late july and early september 2014. These recordings were done at various times of the day. I am using these as quiet background ambiance on a short play due to be performed in the near future. Recorded with a roland r26.

This may be the most irritating squeak sound ever. In our office, we discovered a particular filing cabinet that squeaked if you would lean against it. It was too good to pass up. So i put my recorder in the drawer and leaned. This is the result: four squeaks of unparalleled irritation. I hope you can find a use for this in your projects.

I wanted to make a sound effect for a game i'm developing, and so i recorded a 100-mm artillery cannon at camp williams (utah national guard), then modified the sounds using audacity. The recording was done on an olympus digital recorder in the mid-2000s (first decade). It sounded a little to me like the tribute cannon from hunger games (the sound effect that signals the deaths of the tributes), thus the name.

Created using tracktion waveform-10. I used 3 instances of the builtin synth subtractive, 1 was for the body of the snare the other 2 were the noise to try and replicate the wires of the snare, finally i used zynaddsubfx to create the transient. There was some eq applied to boost key frequencies in around 200hz and mastermix plugin to compress the audio.

Sounds of a 15-year-old dog with laryngal paralysis chewing on a rawhide bone in her crate. (very sad to me as lela is a beloved family member and near the end of her life, but maybe someone can put all this suffering and racket to good use. ) at about the 01:17 mm:ss mark, things get louder because i leaned the recorder up against her crate, near her face. Prior to that the mic was about 5' away, on my kitchen table. I apologize for any unexpected clangs. I didn't edit this file, just uploaded it. Good luck. I'd say "enjoy" but these sounds are pretty gross. :).

Recently we purchased a scale from ikea, when we finally got around to using it we realized that it must be off, as i do not weigh 240 lbs. As we did not have a receipt, or the desire to drive 2 hours to return a $10 scale the only course of action left to me was to take the damn thing apart and record its insides. (what else?). I recorded and edited together around 7 and a half minutes of various configurations and performances of me making some sort of repetitive, engine-like sound. I can foresee myself using these sounds for an old-timey engine or car. Recorded with a rode ntg-3 at 96/24.

The exciting thing about recording and cataloging natural sounds is how you get nice, unexpected surprises. I was up early recently one spring day and did not have any real plans to record, until i stepped outside with my coffee to see what the weather was like and was nicely surprised with the light, steady spring rain that was falling in my yard; during the whole time this energetic carolina wren kept on singing through the rain. I rain, got my recorder and recorded a full hour of this peaceful pattering. You hear the drops hitting the concrete patio, the shingled overhang and a plastic chair. Zoom h4n recorder using the stereo built-in mics.

Sparrows flying from branch to branch in a bare rose bush. Unintentional capture of sound as i was just out walking testing new equipment. This recording was made using a sound devices mixpre6ii and a stereo pair of fel em172 mics. Low cut on the sd which in basic mode is 80hz (i think). There is no processing to this recording other than to ‘normalize’ the levels. I do not require any credit or attribution. If any of these sounds have been of help, and you are feeling charitable, please do consider donating to freesound to help keep the site running (a link is also on the home page). Any donations are greatly appreciated!.

This is a quick little bass heavy remix i tossed together using cc0 sources from right here on freesound. I have never tried mixing anything remotely musical before, so this is a first. Not the best, but maybe someone out there may still enjoy it. I imagine this would maybe be usable as an intro for something, but perhaps it just belong in the bin. One of my brothers came by spontaneously to say hello and he slammed the door behind him hahah. It was non-aggressive of course, the door is heavy and has to be slammed in order for it to be properly closed !. Little did my bro know that i was recording and that i managed to catch the door slam !. The house was dark, empty and quiet - he wondered wtf was going on lol. It sounds a bit distant, it's because i was in the bedroom and not in the entrance. This sound is natural too, which is perfect. Note: make sure to check out the other matrixxx-sounds! the sound quality is always better when you download the sound(s)! ⛄. Enjoy!/matrixxx.

A mysterious dark melody i made on oboe in garageband to something called victors crypt. It's basically a melody i think would fit perfect to something haunting, eerie and evil. Maybe a horror-flick, an intro to a pod or anything you can imagine dark. I hope you enjoy it. Feel free to use it as long as you give me the credit for it/write me as composer. And subscribe to and watch my channel :). Be cool and subscribe to victors crypt:https://www. Youtube. Com/channel/uca8o46_wrqzehsdzuwfq3rq. Throw horns, dance & hail satan!.

No it didn't. Well cool patch anyway? it's what i like. Small variations on a simple theme. Sloth lfos and a jerk off (both from nlc) are the engine. Yes and a comparator. Using an or/gate-combiner to create a trigger-ish for quadra to react on. Analog delay and spring reverb. Why did i do this patch from the very beginning? when the voltage on x from sloth reaches a specific value a trigger is generated and i sample the value on y and uses to select pitch on an oscillator. The one playing the long tones. Chaos creates my variations. Sh1t, now when i've stopped recording cool thing are happening. Promise. . .

A scary tune i did in garageband for something called victors crypt. I made the beat first and added a weird bass-line. On top of that i added the words "i'm shaking, so scared" along with some violins and anxious sounds. Would suit fine for anything creepy. Feel free to use it as long as you give me the credit for it/write me as composer. And subscribe to and watch my channel :). Be cool and subscribe to victors crypt on youtube. Https://youtube. I was looking for a smoke machine blast and a c02 gun blast for an after-movie sound design, but i couldn't find a proper sound on the internet, so with my sound design knowledge, i tried to replicate those noisemakers. Hereby is the first sound from my pack which is coming soon. You are allowed to use this in any festival/after-movie video you have, no need to credit me. Greets, tapesome.
