Something scary i made in garageband for a thing called victors crypt. I wanted to make a typical 80's kind of horror-tune. That synth with a retro vibe. I added sounds and some whisper to make it even more "fun". Feel free to use it as long as you give me the credit for it/write me as composer. And subscribe to and watch my channel :). New life - hospital - labor - pain - birth - midwife saying "it´s a girl". This sample was made with mixcraft 9 recording studio. I built this sample from several samples of freesound in the thought or commitment that i can not only take but also must give. I believe that human togetherness can only work this way. -------------------------------------------------------------maybe you are interested in my other music on pond5?https://www. Pond5. Something i did in garageband for a show called victors crypt. I made a choir with much reverb singing diablo, satana, lucifer, belzebub, demonas to create an occult diabolique feel to it. I think it could be used in something evil like a sacrifice or a ritual. Feel free to use it as long as you give me the credit for it/write me as composer. And subscribe to and watch my channel :). Just me stretching, rubbing and 'twanging' a rubber exercise band. Apologies for the knocking in the first 20 seconds, my upstairs neighbour started moving some furniture. I made this recording for a very specific purpose but i suppose it could be used in an animation or computer game but also for something bondage or kink related?. This recording was made using a sound devices mixpre6ii and a stereo pair of fel em172 mics. Low cut on the sd which in basic mode is 80hz (i think). There is no processing to this recording other than to ‘normalize’ the levels. I do not require any credit or attribution. If any of these sounds have been of help, and you are feeling charitable, please do consider donating to freesound to help keep the site running (a link is also on the home page). Any donations are greatly appreciated!.

Another recording of rain and thunder, but in some ways a better one. This one is a surprisingly big crack and rumble preceded and followed by a nice sounding rain. I made this by positioning a stereo-matched pair of akg c451b condenser mics in an exaggerated x-y configuration (a wider stereo field) and aiming them out of my open window. The mics went into a universal audio 2-610 preamp, an apogee duet 2, and then ableton at 48khz and 24 bits. I believe i had the mics set flat, and there was no post processing (though i was mightily tempted to upload the much-better-sounding eqed and compressed files) so that you can fine tune it to suit your needs. You'll notice that the loudest parts of the thunder boom clipped the input, but, due to the pleasant and forgiving nature of vacuum tubes, the clipping sounds more compressed than distorted. Feel free to use this sound in any commercial or artistic work! you do not need to credit me.

**please rate if you like this sound. I appreciate it so much!!**. This is an effect i created with my voice to create a demon growl in audacity using my audio technica microphone. I wanted to create a sound that could be creepy but not too scary for kids or children's stories originally. Then i added the paulstretch effect in audacity to create a more ominous, creepy, scary, evil, sound for a more horror like ambience. I am uploading the original as well without paulstretch and maybe another version with echo and/or reverb. I videoed this sound of a subway train in glasgow scotland on the famous "clockwork orange" train as they are called. I used my canon powershot a460 digital camera to video this, i simply took the sound from the video. I was lucky enough to get a good run on this with just a few poeple on board, so there wasn't any other sound apart from the train, the only time you here some movement of feet is when the doors open. Please note, anybody is free to use this sound, you don't have to credit me, but it would be fun to hear how you use my sound if possible. :) here is the link to the type of licence i use. A was busy doing some big muff basedenvelope follower, envelope filteredcomposition, when it hit me, a small portioncould be used for the max. 12 second loopof a loop exercice we're doing in the class. Here, i manipulate the envelope filter twice. First, a recorded loop, of my vintage teisco60's 70's don't remember anymore, doesn't matterguitar, i found for 90 euro at an online rommelmarktlet's say. . . I put the envelope filter so that it 'just' triggerson the peaks of my audio file. . . Oww yeah !!!. The second time i trigger the envelope filter, is wheni play live on top of the recorded loop, i'm playing on purposepercussive, a coup of my hand with an immediate attack, toeven further more let the filter open & because of the amazinggrainy low-frequency based russian sovtek big muff the filtergrowls even more. . . On top of the just percussive behavior, i playof course an harmonic, content related sequence, feeling that the loopwhile being in an odd measure, already is repeating itself , the liveplaying, contrastwise, makes variation in texture & harmonic/melodice content. . . This is only a small portion of the biggercomposition, that's comin'curious ? head to. Https://jozefaleksanderpedro. Bandcamp. Com/. For support : paypal/jozefaleksanderpedro. Peace !04012021.

Shortwave wide-band digital emission recorded on july 15, 2014 at 15:17 utc in am mode using 2 instances of the online remote controllable short-wave receiver located at the amateur radio club etgd at the university of twente the netherlands. Left channel was recorded below the central frequency, at a frequency of 10187khz, right channel was recorded above the central frequency, at 10191khz. This was an experiment to see if selective fading would create stereo effects, as the lower frequency part of the transmission would be heard better in the left channel, and the higher frequency component would be heard better on the right. I used goldwave to put the separate recordings into 2 channels of the same file, after i synched the recordings by ear at 1/16 playback speed using a set of 2 particularly strong lightning static crashes as a guide, trimming off everything that came before the first strike in both original recordings, then inserting silence in the range of a few milliseconds until the stereo separation was as close to zero as i could get it. I wasn't as successful at that as i've been with experiments with voice recordings from simultaneous broadcasts on 2 wavelengths that i haven't posted here.

echoes from an age of misery is made in garageband for a thing called victors crypt. I wanted something massive and huge sounding with a certain groove and swag to it. But instead of going straight to the fat bass / big drums-part i made a quiet little intro before it kicks off. I made the drums with both sampled drums and a drum-machine to make it big. And i use 3 different basses. For a little extra spice i put some strings and stuff on it. Would fit anything big, dramatic and scary!!!. Could be perfect for an intro, outro, something spooky and cool, mysterious or whatever you feel like. . . . Let the imagination run wild. Feel free to use it as you like as long as you subscribe to and watch my channel! if you wanna use it in your music and gonna release it, ask me first. Inspired by amliebsch's "voice from hell" sound, i decided to take a crack at making something similar. This was made with my own voice. If you want to know what it's saying, it's:. To invoke the hive-mind representing chaos. Invoking the feeling of chaos. With out order. The nezperdian hive-mind of chaos. Zalgo. He who waits behind the wall. Zalgo!. Just slowed and pitched down immensely and then with some added reverb to give it the creepy effects that i wanted to. I think it would make a really great ambiance to a creepy horror scene in some creepy abandoned. . . . Wherever you would expect to hear these kinds of sounds. Credits to amliebsch for giving me the idea!.

Single note sampled from a deckard's dream diy analogue synthesizer that i built myself. Deckard's dream (ddrm) is an 8-voice analogue synthesizer designed by black corporation and inspired in the classic yamaha cs-80. The ddrm (and cs-80) is all about live performance and expressiveness via aftertouch and modulations. Therefore, sampling the notes like i did here does not make much sense and by no means makes justice to the real thing. Nevertheless, i thought it could still be useful and would be nice to share. I picked up a home-grade reel to reel machine at a thrift store and and this is the tape which was in it. A father sends messages from home to his son in the u. S. Navy during the vietnam war, including fatherly advice about cars and shopping overseas and anxiously awaiting his sons return. He provides sample fodder at 14:19 about musical gear lust and otherwise provides an insight to the times. As no parties in this recording are explicitly identified, and while i did not record this, i am the de facto owner of the recording at this point and think it best to preserve it by posting it here as cc0. 180hz notchfilter(60x3)otherwise untouched.

Alien xxx sent me a “cross modulation challenge”. I have tried to be true to his idea, but added automation, so to speak. Oscillator1 is constantly fm-modulating oscillator2. I vary the frequency of oscillator1 with an lfo. The output of oscillator1 is sent to a) left audio channel and b) in to oscillator2. The output of oscillator2 is fed to oscillator1. The degree of cross fm modulation is controlled by a vca controlled by another lfo. The output of oscillator2 is also sent to right audio channel. As i’m writing this i have just made a theoretical patch on a piece of paper. The result is what you hear. No effects added. Straight out of the modular for better or worse.

My contribution to the freesouond collaborative performance of gyorgi ligeti's "poème symphonique for 100 metronomes". The metronome is marked "wittner" and "made in w. Germany". It ran for a little over 13 minutes at about 140. 7 bpm. Recorded on the hardwood floor of my bedroom, with the mic in front about 30 cm away. Equipment used: oktava mk102 mic, art digital mpa preamp, m-audio audiophile card. This sample is completely unprocessed. It looks limited or clipped, but i can't hear it - must be from the tube preamp (i had the gain cranked way up). It's pretty quiet, but if you listen carefully you may hear some noises in the background, especially near the beginning where i leave the room.

A nearby moo. Taken from a field recording (quite literally) i made of the cows mooing in the field next to our house in pembrokeshire, wales. Recorded tuesday 14 april 2020 (while in lockdown during the coronavirus pandemic) on a zoom q2n. Note, incidentally, that "zoom" spelt backwards is "mooz". Spooky, eh?. I hope that someone out there finds these moos to be just the thing they need. I recorded them for my own music project about ufos, but figured someone else might need a moo or two too! if you use these, please let us know in the comments. It's not compulsory, but it would be fun to find out.

Https://twitter. Com/klj54282021/status/1633974045862404097?s=20. Laughter. I guess. Check it. Turn the sound on. Typically low-quality because it has to be. It's worth it. I've never seen anyone really lose it like this before, particularly, this guy. An hour or so later he's settled down, but still has occasional outbursts. He says joe biden could never play bongos like that to save his life, much less sing. Donald trump is actually a much better dancer. I think if they had the fortitude to actually do this, they could feed the world's hungry with the profits. I don't see how they could pull it off.

It's a recording of over 100 people watching a football match (poland-greece @ uefa euro 2012). Recorded in a medium-sized hall. You can hear the sport live commentary broadcasted from television, people expressing their emotions with their voices. Clapping their hands, cheering their team (poland) and generally making a lot of interesting noises as they watch the game. Recorded with zoom h2 in 2-channel surround mode. Originally 24-bit wav, normalized and converted to 24-bit flac with audacity. I have reduced the mic gain at 0:56 to ensure i will not have a clipped recording. I didn't edit the result to let you cut-out whatever you may need.

Snippets from recordings of me playing the tanpura. The strings are tuned to b, d, g and e, so would work well in the keys of g or e minor. I noticed that my first pack of tanpura samples has a bit of fuzzy white noise so in this pack i have equalized - i reduced all the very high frequencies which got rid of most of the white noise without affecting the low frequency sounds of the tanpura itself. Please note this is the tanpura part of an instrument called the swar sangam which combines the swarmandal (indian harp) and the tanpura, it is not a traditional tanpura and does sound slightly different.

I gave them my handy recorder h2 and they did their thing. I edited the recording a bit in audacity. They are cool with this recording being put on freesound. Org and also that it's cc0 as long as it's anonymous. Have fun and if you get the chance to share intimate sounds yourself: don't be shy and just do it (but ask first)!.

Some bells - first played one by one, then some clusters (i think, if you are looking for the clusters, i have another soudn called more bells, and they are probably there). The bells were part of an art installation from yougoslavian artist stipo pranyko, who was having a retrospective at tea, in santa cruz de tenerife. This was recorded in the big halls of the museum, that's why there's so much reverb. Recorded with a zomm h4 n.

This is the first recording i made with my zoom h1 (probably will be making more soon). I made it from my balcony, late afternoon - there is a large playground surrounded with 4 four-storied blocks, so there's a great echo. The birds are very noisy at this time of day here and kids as well. There are also some distinct parents talking in the background. Recorded in small town in poland.

I recorded my voice while playing freelance horror games; scp-087-b and slender sanatorium. This was so i could get genuine reactions to use as stock voice clips for future use. Some pretty interesting stuff came out. This is when the first "thing" that happens when you start, like hearing the first creepy sound or grabbing your first note.

I'm new to freesound, and am loving all the ambient forest and water sounds. I wanted to get something on my account to share while i'm still in the process of purchasing good equipment to share my own ambient sounds. So i whistled a little tune into my iphone 5s just to get the sharing started. This land is my land, this land is your land with a little harmonizing :).

I made a series of recordings of urban sounds from my open living room window between late july and early september 2014. These recordings were done at various times of the day. I am using these as quiet background ambiance on a short play due to be performed in the near future. Recorded with a roland r26.
