The Star Spangled Banner

Recorded on 20. 05. 2020 on schneealpe in styria, austria. Its funny - and a bit scary - that one can see the exact crevice the recording took place from a satellite. There was a bit of snow left from winter but rapidly melting. Drops fall from 30 cm to the rock below in different rhythms. Recorded with 2 km184 ab ~40cm apart into sounddevices 744. Unfortunately i had no proper windscreen and so there is quite some rumble up to 120hz. The rumble can be filtered out easily, but i left the recording as is (i normalized and converted from 96k to 48k in audacity).

An old project (2017, 4 years ago) i never uploaded anywhere before. I hope that others will take inspiration from this. This is practically a sequel to "muffled warfare" that i never released, and have titled it so. Inspired by this war of mine. A collection of sounds muffled and mixed together to create a warfare soundscape heard from within a church. A lone individual sifts through the scraps of war, and checks the worldwide news from his radio. The war marches on around them, however, and he must move on.

I couldn't find any good giant wings flapping here, so i made my own and am now sharing them so nobody else has to! screw paying for sounds! made from a combination of pizza box lids, sheets, and a bit of sound design. You don't even have to credit me because i mean. . . Who even does that? and why? who's gonna track down a foley artist from the credits of a show for a random sound? just check out the sonic realms podcast if you like audiodramas and role playing games; there's nothing else like it. Thrilling and cool music i made in garageband for something called victors crypt!. Made this drumbeat with a lot of percussions. After i recorded the bass i decided to go with an "airy" guitar with a lot of reverb in the chords. I added electric guitar and a synth-choir as well. Could be useful in anything cool, intro, outro, game, dark, eerie, spooky, creepy, scary, horrific,mysterious, crime-ish, thrilling or whatever comes to mind. Note: i have created a newer version which has better looping. It is called drum beat loop 2. 0. This is a drum beating. It is 12 seconds long but can be looped. It was createdusing ableton live (including plugins like acdgen, drumbrain, and polyrandom). The files were then combined and edited using audacity. Feel free to comment your opinions on this. Note: while this did loop just fine in my tests, some software don't handle the looping as well (like groove music pauses before repeating). If the looping doesn't work the first time, try using a different software. You can easily do this on a windows pc by right clicking on the file and pressing open with (i am sure there is also a way to do this on a macbook but i have never used one so i am not sure how you would do it). A random sound i created for one of my animation. I really don't know what kind of sound do you call it but it is usually used when having a "dramatic" label. Well, whatever that is. Nevermind. Feel free to use it. This sound was achieved by recording myself pounding my table once and slowed it down in audacity while adding a bit reverb to it.

Test of how uoki-toki polivoks vcf handles sin-wave (ca 270hz) when the filter is self-oscillating. I bring the uoki-toki polivoks vcf to self-oscillation and tune the vcf to ca 270hz too. I let the lfo sweep the frequency. Cv1 pot at ca 100%. Hmmm interesting. . . .

An ambient sort of sound done by doodling around in photosounder. Using the white spray with the harmonics on i drew two squiggly lines across the image horizontally, then flipped the image 90 degrees counter-clockwise, then with a wide dark brush i darkened some areas of the image to make the sound progress for a narrow band continuous noise to a full bandwidth squiggly kind of noise.

A synth line i made for the 127 search ;) i made this one on reason. Used three thor modules, effected each one differently. Gave two a delay of different time panned opposite, and the other a reverb. This is in the key of g. 楽しみます.

Warning!! loud!!!. Okay, so i record narrations, and some are of my. . . Longer stories. . . This particular one was so tedious to read, i literally basked in the sweet glory of finally recording the whole story. You might be all like, "dood, it's not that big of a deal. . . " yes. Yes it was. Xd.

A short piece of melody. . . Sound is an artifact extracted from one of test records in new audacity. It sounds like a saw. . . Or something? idk. This piece sounds kinda exotic because i used the second half of harmonic e-minor scale. So some people could use this combination (descending harmonic scale) before (even now i can remember two examples. ).

I was on a walk and i decided to go under a busy bridge to record some foley. I'm about 4 feet from the top of the bridge and it was fairly large so there will be some reverberation. There was also a river nearby, around 10 meters away. This sound is in open domain, use it freely without need for retribution or credit.

I heard and saw cranes at målsjön in kristdala,sweden,it`s a bird-lake. I did some recordings in 2nd of april. Equipment usedrecorder zoom f4microphones two cm3 from line audioand windshields from rycote.

Looks like that couple next door is back at it again. You can hear them noises of them having conversations and when they're going at it. I decided to make this audio clip long since i haven't heard from them for a while. The sex noise parts are around 9:30 to 26:00. A lot of the parts were amplified.

This series is done through layering and processing many samples of drum sounds i synthesised using various plugins namely xoxo's vst's and zynaddsubfx mixed with some old hardware samples i made a long time ago. There are 4 packs of the same series : perc snare kick and hats all using the same process.

Self-created fire alarm. The idea is based on the typical fire alarm in buildings and was supplemented by a typical (slightly pitched) sound sequence of the us emergency vehicles. The sounds and the composition were created completely with audacity. I would be happy about suggestions for improvement and how you have used the sound sequence. I used it as a fire alarm in my home automation.
