A collection of sounds of a magazine flipping through its pages and a heavy book slamming shut. Recorded using a blue yeti microphone at 16-bit 44100hz in audacity. Used audacity's noise removal filter to to remove background noise. For this file, i isolated the samples i liked and left a small gap of silence between them for separation later. Attribution appreciated but not required.

An elderly bathroom extractor fan is switched on with the lights, left running, switched off and eventually cuts out automatically. Its bearings might be about to pack up, or there's something catching the blades, or both! the start was surprisingly noisy so the file has been hard limited to -1db. Recorded with a sony pcm-m10.

Impulse response file for use in convolution reverbs. I recommend convology xt by impulse records, free and easy to use. Recorded in a glass box of a hotel shower. And we all know glassy resonant shower reverb is the best. Recorded with a sony d100. Self-reminder to bring more balloons next time.

This sort of kickish type sound is one of my experiments with my model d. The ones near the end sound the kickiest and there's a nice filter sweeping as it goes along. They'll probably be best shortened a bit but, hey, it's up to you. If you like, please rate. This is the second part of an audio filtering project (in general, signal processing). This sample shows a noisy recording of my voice, after transforming the signal using the xft (extended fourier transform), applying a filter to cut some frequencies and later applying the inverse xft. All this done with an algorithm in matlab or mathematica written by me. Check the recording before the filtering process by hearing the file "holaoriginal. Wav" and please comment.

This anthem was in use during the rule of Emperor Haile Selassie I from 1930 to 1974. The music was composed in 1926 by Kevork Nalbandian, an Armenian living in Ethiopia. It was first performed when Haile Selassie I was crowned Emperor on November 2, 1930 and remained the national anthem until the Emporer was overthrown by socialist army officers in 1974 and the socialists fully gained control of the government in 1975.
