I recorded a bird on the koh tao island in thailand. It makes some weird sounds and says "i love you". This was very quiet though and i had to make it louder which increased the ambient noises. The weird sounds are pretty clear. Used an rhode ixy and edited in logic.

A grey squirrel at the edge of a wood seemed quite upset and repeated called for about 5 minutes. I recorded the end of its calling. It is also my first attempt at recording sound with my camera (canon eos 550d). There turned out to be a fan noise with a slight clicking. I was trying to record the brook that runs from a spring in the woods but faintly, then growing louder, a man walked past in a big loop around the dell the brook was in, playing chart music out of a portable speakeri decided to keep speeding in case it was of use or interest.
