Disclaimer: this may be loud. Check your volume. This sound is an experiment i did for a short film my crew and i are working on. I wanted to see if i could make a warning effect like the civil defense messages that play on the radio for storms and other emergencies, so i recorded my voice, and pitched it down, equalized it, put it through a high pass filter and lo and behold, i think it sounds pretty darn close. I then coupled it with a couple alert tones from my local noaa / nssl station and this sound was born. This effect could be used for an apocalyptic scenario or civil unrest, riots, looting, or anything else you desire. Not required, but it would be cool to hear if you use it for anything. Enjoy!.

A heartbeat sound i created. Fairly consistent through most of it, and then speeds up into heart-attack mode about 30 seconds from the end. To make it, i took a kick-drum sample and a snare-drum sample, and made a pattern of kick-snare, kick-snare, kick-snare, over and over. I then eq'd them to be less distinct and drum-like, added tape saturation to increase the low-end thumping, a small chorus effect and some compression to get rid of the drums' attack. . . Basically just over-processed the hell out of it. Then i used a plugin called wok m-st to get a fake hard-panned stereo effect. My goal was to make it sound like your heartbeat sounds in your ears when you've been running too fast for too long. I think it sounds cool.

An actual new production instead of old stuff! made in june of 2020. A dark intro implies the humming engines of the spaceship you're in as you're traveling at speeds unimaginable. Slowly the ship starts to spring to life. As you open your eyes, slow but huge bands of light sweeps across your cryogenic sleeping pod, as if being scanned. The pod starts to move while you're still in it, going through chambers filled with machinery and bleeping computer stations, until it stops in front of a huge closed door. Suddenly, your pod opens up as well as the door. Your eyes are greeted with the majestic sight of a gigantic control room with windows as far as the eyes can see, galaxies fills your field of view, a beautiful synergetic view of the grandeur of space and the hundreds of lights of the control room, welcoming you to a new adventure. 2 simple chords form the basis of a textural composition supplied with sound effects. Plugins used: ni kontakt 5 with atom hub's the planet, doom by sampletraxx, space by rigid audio, ni absynth, and massive vst synths. Effects: izotope mastering plugins, a bunch of fl studio stock reverb and eq, guitar rig 5, blackhole reverb, replika xt, raum reverb.

I was trying to record noise outside my house with my phone, but when i tried to amplify the noise, this was the result. Thank you to renard_v for pointing out that these are decoding artifacts/compression artifacts. I didn't know it can sound like that when amplified.

Another recording of slightly faster/more frequent waves lapping and crashing against a break water/wall with some quite a lot of spraying sound. Again, there is this stereo effect of the waves hitting from left to right. This would be a really good sound for any on boat/stormy sea needs.

I created this sound by using the fl studio speech synthesizer plus several effects. Maybe useful in a video game or a short animation movie ;-).

A random sound i created for one of my animation. I really don't know what kind of sound do you call it but it is usually used when having a "dramatic" label. Well, whatever that is. Nevermind. Two sustained voice samples i subsequently pitch shifted and layered for an ambient work (to achieve an 80's choir pad effect). The key is almost in middle c, but slightly off. . . Because i can't sing. The second, lower voice sample was recorded extremely close to the mic to achieve clipping; i wanted to get a buzzy, boomy sound out of it.

Futuristic mechshop atmosphere created inside flstudio with filtered white noise generators, flstudio wasp, pitch envelopes, channel gain automation plus lashings of reverb for effect. Each one of the nonsensical announcements at the start are entirely synthetic. They're text to speech, done on-the-fly, with pre-fader pitch modulation embedded in automation track. No synths were harmed in the making of this cacophany.

This is me reading a list of numbers to type in to create a sonic effect on my computer. (think -514. 0001. ) i first reversed it and added reverb to it and reversed it again. They're made using a little wavetable-based synth which i built from scratch; the wavetable contains 32 home-grown waveforms, and the synth's parameters and effects are controlled by a bank of 16 sequencers. Bees buzzing around lavendar on a perfect sunny day in spring in my back yard. Recorded with a rode cardioid mic on a zomm 4h field recorder. Neighbourhood noise more of an ambience than a sound effect.

Recorded on a damp night from a beach house at wrightsville beach, north carolina. Audio has been treated for some wind. The whole recording was like an hour long but i couldn't upload that much. Tip: to extend the sound, you can cross-fade this sample pretty much anywhere with itself and the effect is virtually unnoticeable.
