A series of nondescript samples recorded in a fashion inspired by error. They are made so that even if they are arranged in a rhymthmicaly correct order, they still sound horrible. The samples come from unearthed past tracks.

Recording of live kick drum that was gently hand-tapped with a plastic club. Recording was then reversed and processed through compressor, eq, flanger, gentle distortion and slight reverbation, to produce something almost but not quite entirely unlike an approximation of the beating of a human heart.

I created this sound to emulate what a dance beat might sound like in a canyon. Was originally a hot dog warmer with a nice rattle to it. Recorded on zoom h2.

2 electric guitarists and one drummer jam metal and hardcore. Recorded with sony tcd d10 pro ii & 2 x sennheiser md21u.

Played with shaping low-frequency noise and speeding it up, made a nice, usable cymbal. Here it is without compression/increased speed.

Kicking various parts of an old door made of wood and metal. The door is part of the ruins of a century-old iron foundry. The recording included background noise from a nearby stream.

This is another break i made in jeskola buzz, from a variety of free percussive hit samples. There are 4 back to back breaks that differ slightly for variety.

This is 10 minutes of a chain rattling and falling as it is pulled out of the water to raise the anchor by a group of pirates. It is used as background percussion instead of drums etc. It can be used for anything that requires a long steady beat of a chain.

Recorded with a sennheiser mkh 416 into a tascam dr-100 mkii.

For this sample, i have to use a stereo recording. Drum and bass stylei put an effect to melt in closure, and an effect to change the height (-70. 000, pitch from d to f), and an other effect to change the height (+ 12. 575, pitch from d to e).

A metal spoon bouncing ever so slightly on a porcelain bowl the way a drumstick hits a snare. I thought the hit had a nice inflection to it and could be used for some strange percussion break.

Multibandcomp-warmer. 7band eq-lofi mio. Fast dist-the heat. Miafat. Kick-hat-snare. Tempo120.

Made with garageband for 30 minutes. You can use this for trailers and intros or whatever it can be. It's sort of dramatic/suspenseful. Only used my keyboard to make this.

This is used by fliter of a vst bp 48 fx using a sharp nice smoothing synth sound.

3 gal. Bucket with a sony voice recorder placed on the inside. Edited with sony sound forge, eq to get rid of the crappy voice recorder sounds and added time compress 85% of original, bend pitch and reverse on end. Also added stereo pan.

A wicked tune i made in garageband for something called victors crypt. Played it on organ, drums, guitar and more. Was aiming for a thrilling groove and a spooky atmosphere. The fundamentals of this patch is from the doepfer home pagehttp://www. Doepfer. De/a100_man/a100_patch. Htmthe patch they call "random melody". I call the sound "random melody from doepfer site". Boring. . . I added a voice with some delay/reverb fx and some simple drums. The high-hat is made from white noise and the bass drum isa self oscillating filter. I have used a minor scale on my doepfer a-157 quantizer. This sound is slitly treated in audacity. A little compressor and limiter. Review from one of my kids: "well, there is some rhythm".

Recorded on a pearl drumset. Only one of the tams, the bassdrum and the hi-hat is played. Recorded in a practising room located at the the former base for the american military in iceland. Recorded through a yamaha preamp. Sound altered slghty in cubase, adding reverb as well as compression to the file. Enjoy !.

A lot of eq-ing, layering, and saturation was done on this snare, thought it sounded nicer than snare 1, but snare 1 is more malleable than this snare when it comes to mixing it, since snare 1 is way less filtered.

This is the "doom or maybe not" raw version. However, i did tweak it to make it sound better. . . Anyways. I hope you like it. Use it or not it's up to you. :).

I recorded a mouth noise. I add reverberation effect where i pick a big room size and a reverberation of 50%. Then, i add a melt opening. I generated a risset drum to create my ringtone.

Forest drum sound similar to the old donkey kong style sounds with some atmospheric sound that carries on after using a cement mixer and some rain. If some aspects of this sound are not to your liking there's a couple variations on my page.
