I just tested the recently released plugin moscillator (by meldaproduction) and fiddled around with the parameters. It's always the same fundamental. But i automated the parameters for the harmonic's post-processor (sharpen, clean, harmonize, noise, compress). In the end i just put a reverb (eareverb [preset: "under the city"], 100% wet) after the oscillator.

Recorded using only an android phone and 'recording machine' app. The recording was made on the metal jetty at london greenwich a minute or so after the ferry had departed. The sound is of the metal plates of the walkway rubbing together as the jetty gently rises and falls on the swell. Eerie and atmospheric. Strangely quiet considering it was recorded in a major city.

In 's-hertogenbosch in holland we have carnival every year. This is a recording in the centre of the city. A recording of several 'dweilorkesten' that is a band that plays musing in the street. 'literal' translation is 'mop band or mopping band'. The go trough the streets like someone mopping the floor. This recording at the market-place is made with hundreds of people around. The ambience here is totally different from other places in the town and the world. It complete different than the south american carnival. Recorded: march 7th 2011, markt, 's-hertogenbosch, holland. The ambience takes place in a forest near madrid, on october, 2015. The sound is the reproduction of footsteps of a runner approaching. The effect that is produced is like a doppler effect, but i didn't change the recording. I recorded it with a zoom h4n. The sound can be used as a background resource. I wanted to capture tramp of feet on gravel moving away, as a typical sound to be used in stories.

This is quite a generic exterior atmos. You can occasionally hear crockery and chat (it's a the outside area of a quiet cafe) and a fountain faintly in the background and other than that, general suburban city noise.

On the balcony, at our apartment in podgorica, montenegro; around 5pm, an hour after sunset; with the shotgun, sennheiser mkh 416 microphone, pointed out over the roofs. This long recording was taken aboard the odoriko super view train from ito city bound for atami. You can hear the conductor's announcements, station arrivals and departures, passenger conversations (in japanese) and, of course, the train itself. The recording is unprocessed and made with a stereo mic pair at a 90 degree incidental angle.
