Our good old bosch dishwasher is doing its magic. This is a more rhythmic loop. You can hear a glass or bowl squeaking/ringing in the water jet inside the device. Recorded x/y stereo with two audio technica at4041 mics into a marantz pmd 661 recorder. Normalized plus some eqing using fabfilter pro-q3.

This is my first time ever recording ambiance, i used the tascam dr-40, please leave any notes and suggestions on how i can better make these ambient recordings. This recording was made in the condominium garden of my building in italy in the province of rieti, where you can hear various noises, such as: cars passing by, my dog barking and running, a passage of a hospital helicopter, while i play with my little dog etc. The recording was done with the shure mv88 digital stereo microphone connected to my iphone 12 pro.

The sounds of birdcalls in port stephens, nsw, at around 6am in spring time. November 2015. There are doves, curlews, magpies, rainbow lorikeets, corellas, and different sea birds. At 17:20, the kookaburras kick in, and at 17:38 you can hear a koala grunting. Recorded with a zoom h2, surround sound. Edited on premiere pro cc.

I was out recording some sounds late one evening, and i randomly heard this, which i can assume is a gunshot. Not much processing was done to this sound, except some noise removal and pitch shift. Sounds recorded directely from a boat stopped in front the beautiful baia blu (la spezia, italy). You can hear the waves clashing with the boat, the sounds of the sea, the people in the distance laugh and play, and a dip from the boat to the sea. It was recorded with a zoom h1n (96khz /24bit). Recorded in a sunny, calm-windy afternoon. The sound was no post-processed.

This is the sound of brownyan noise, made with audacity program. Stereo of this noise created with amplitude at the default value, also with fade in and out effects added for the good results. Using headphones is the best way to hear low frequencies of this noise. Also this sound can be use for tinnitus problems or masking unwanted noises. Also, it's very effective for relaxation, sleep or meditation. Enjoy it, and download this is recommended due to the bad quality preview.

City centre southampton at about 7:30am on a foggy morning. You can hear foghorns from multiple vessels on southampton water, traffic, birds, businesses preparing for the day and a mixture of bird noises. Rode svmx into tascam dr-22wl21-09-16_073244_foghorns_svmx. Wav.

This is around 10 minutes of a hand drum groove at 113 bpm, but there are many little random variations, so you can chop it up and loop just the bits you like, or let the little drum section play as you tie up your man bun, kick your hackey sack and shake your money maker around the drum circle.

Recorded under a long, dark, low bridge on my local canal. Me laughing. Slowed by 5% in audacity. The result? -a chilling, maniacal, evil laugh. Recorded late at night in fog - so it felt scary even to us. Recorded using a sennheiser mke300 'shotgun' mic. Cropped in audacity; and saved as aif file. It was saved. . . But nothing can save you! "muh, muh, muh ha ha haaaaa!".

Decided to record myself drinking from my water bottle, turned out good enough so here it is! can be used for anything like simply drinking, or swallowing or the like. Made some chicken alfredo and as i was slapping the noodles with the wooden spoon it sounded great! works for some gross effects or if someone gets slapped you can supplement your slapping noise with some moisture for some comedic value ;). I believe sound clips should be openly shared, but i am always interested in seeing how people use them ;).

I created this sound using lmms and 2 instances of it's zynaddsubfx plugin and a kick using the kicker plugin and some ladspa effects. I tried to emulate the "inception braaam " sound the best i could. Hopefully someone can find this useful to use in their project.

Zoom h4n - onboard microphones. This recording was captured in the city of orange in orange county, california. This is located just below los angeles and less than a mile from disneyland in anaheim. This is an extremely clean recording of a sudden cloudburst that turned in to a torrential downpour on december 28, 2020. The peaks are all very close to 0db. I opened the sliding glass door to our balcony and placed my zoom h4n as close as possible to the rain without destroying the recorder. What resulted is an amazingly layered rain track. This is because rain can be heard striking multiple surfaces such as a tree, a metal table, the cement balcony, etc. . . There is not much thunder (that's rare in this area) but if you need a few dramatic thunder claps they can be found at the following times one the file is downloaded. A more dreary version of spooky siren. The intonations of this feel more grimdark, in a sense total tripedation and tension over an event can be felt like the forthcoming of a thunderstorm over a hero illuminating him towards his true path. Reasynth, orilriver and losers filtering plugins were used. I inspired this from half life 2's citadel siren which contained a single trailing notation.

Just some sample hits from my drum kit. I left them totally raw so you can add your own processing, reverbs, delays, whatever. The "just the room mic" could be especially fun to nuke, mangle and/or distort. I performed and recorded all of these samples in my studio. So slice & dice, hack & slash, scoop & loop, smash & bash. I needed a quick fix for a bomb sound effect, and i think i made this one okay. Honestly, i just went "pkhoooooo" into my laptop mic, bass boosted it, slowed it down, pitched it down, and ran it through a low-pass filter in audacity. This is a little recording on my tascam dr-44wl in kjfk airport new york, waiting to fly home with my wife. There was a bird flying around the in the building at our gate, which two young kids were loving. You can hear them say they see the poop, which i did see too lol. Recorded at 320kbps mp3.

Recordings of a fairground in a small town in germany, starting the day's business. Wide angle shot of the fairground, somewhat later. All the rides are working, some early customers are milling around, you can hear german "schlager"-music playing and a spooky voice beckoning people to the haunted house ride. Recorded with a zoom h2, mics set at 90° dispersion.

It's painful but it had to be done. . . Here's the field record of a demolition plant in the paris suburb of pantin. An old factory is beeing reduced to dust, prior to some housing developements. On this recording, you can hear one excavator actually tearing down the building while another one is sorting junk in the backyard. Recorded with a zomm h2n in x/y stereo mode.

I made this pad sound by starting with a traditional saw wave and mixing various effects together such as reverb and chorus. The wav file also has pre-defined loop points that can be used in samplers that support the functionality. Note: there is a slight static noise that is present when the sound is played through the freesound player on the website, however, the static is not present when played outside of the freesound audio player. Digital noise made from raw binary files extracted from hdd with hexplorer using raw import function in audacity. Files were 4, each made from 200 sectors. I modified each sound using filters and joined them together to make longer looping example. Good to use in a game or 3d video animation as background ambient noise. Audacity and hexplorer are freeware and you can make similar job with them. . .

Recorded using jez riley french contact microphones, on a windy day on the south coast of england. I connected a pair of contact microphones to different parts of a metal fence and let the wind do the rest. Starts off gently and gradually the intensity increases as the wind picks up. You can hear the fence rattling and a ambient drone of the wind blowing.

Running water into a bathtub. The faucet is audibly turned on and off at the beginning and end. The temperature of the water is tested at several intervals resulting in some variation to the water sound. Individual drips can be heard after the water is turned off. Take 2 of 2. Originally recorded for a short film where one of the characters takes an off-screen bath. Recorded (if i remember correctly) with a sennheiser mkh-416 microphone into a sound devices 302 mixer.

I recorded myself walking around the outer waiting area at my office. There are some very nice floorboard squeaks in here. Unfortunately, the environment isn't as quiet as i'd like; you can discern some traffic noise coming from outside the office building.
