Beard clipper/shaver/trimmer: sound of a beard clipper, on skin contact with the beard clipper. Recorded with a zoom h6 (rode ntg-2). It was recorded in a room where the acoustic was good.

Ambient recorded from an acoustic contact pickup attached to the metal cover of an hp pavilion desktop computer tower. Featuring natural computer fan and harddisk sounds.
This standup bass was sampled using a direct pickup as well as stereo overhead mics for some room ambience. Articulations include a normal pizzicato, or finger plucked note; a stopped note as performed with the finger; a stopped note performed bartok style; and some miscellaneous sound effects: a slide by the hand down the strings, a slap on the strings, and a knock on the wooden body of the bass. This audio is not a sound effect itself, however it can be used with an impulse response plugin to recreate the acoustics of a particular environment. This particular file is designed to replicate the acoustics of distant muffled club or rave. This was done using the "profiler stereo lsp plugin" and placing the microphones on the opposite corner of the speaker in a highly reverberous house forcing the audio to reverberate around a corner. After this, a low frequency boost was applied in post along with other general cleanup of the audio.

A soundscape from my debut album, "summer crickets. . . " takes several field recordings of rural summer ambiance and mixes them with my own acoustic guitar strumming.
